Eye Disease Management

There are many health issues that can present themselves as either symptoms or side effects in parts of the eye.  Diabetes and Hypertension are just two examples of systemic diseases that have ocular manifestations.

Every comprehensive eye exam at Maya Vision Center includes diagnostic testing for early detection of ocular diseases including Glaucoma, Cataracts, Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy and others.   Management and co-management of those conditions (should they be present) is done through a treatment plan with Dr. Maya and a consult with an Ophthalmologist when necessary.

At Maya Vision Center you will find the most up-to-date technology in managing ocular disease.  This includes Fundus Photography, OCT Digital Scanning, Visual Field Testing and more.
